July 2026: Driver Education

ClassGraphic  Learn the rules of the road and how to be safe behind the wheel. Students will prepare for the driver's exam to obtain their driver's license. Once a student passes the Driver Education course and drive time with the instructor they may be allowed to waive the driving portion of the license requirements with the DMV. The driver's education course consist of 30 classroom hours, six hours of in-car instruction (outside of classroom hours) and six hours of observation as set forth by the Wyoming State Department of Education. 
Before taking this course students must:
  • Have a driver's permit. Please bring to first day of class. 
  • Have a log with 25 hours (5 hours of interstate driving) of driving with an adult recorded before driving with the instructor. Bring to first day of class. 
  • Score 75% or higher on final exam for successful completion
